Rules

General regulations

Any excessive noise likely to inconvenience other campers in any way whatsoever is strictly forbidden at all times.
Motorised vehicles that are too noisy and ATVs are prohibited at all time at the campground.
The beach is accessible by paths designed for this purpose, in order to preserve the natural vegetation on the slope of the beach.
Curfew is from 11 pm to 7 am.
Fires are permitted, but they must be made in the fire pits provided for this purpose.
Campers may put up a clothesline but must take it down when not using it.
Any trade or soliciting is forbidden at the campground. For example, the subletting of a campsite to a third person is not tolerated.
Any offender is exposed to being evicted without any refund.

Number of equipment

An individual campsite can hold, at the most, the following equipment combinations, if it is large enough:

One registered RV (bearing a licence plate, i.e.; a trailer) + 1 tent;
or 2 tents.

In either case, campers may also set up a floorless cooking tent.
The caper must respect the maximum lenght of he equipment allowed when reserving a site. Chechs will be made on arrival.

Traffic

The maximum permitted speed limit at the campground is 15 km/hr.
Only one vehicle may be parked at an individual campsite, in the area designated for this purpose.
Any other vehicles, including visitors’ vehicles, must be left in the parking lot at the campground entrance.
No motorised vehicle traffic is permitted at the campground after midnight.

Arrival, extension, departure

Campers can arrive on the site at 12 o’clock.
Campers must vacate their campsite no later than 11 am. If they intend to extend their stay, they must book for the following day(s) by 11 am.
Campers who have booked a campsite in advance have no priority if they decide to extend their stay beyond the nights for which they have already paid.
Campers who leave their site prematurely for any reason are not entitled to any refund.

Pets

A maximum of two pets per site is allowed.
Prohibition to leave a dog in camping equipment without the presence of the dog manager on site.
Pets must be kept on a leash.
No pets are allowed in the buildings.
No pets are allowed in the children’s playground.
No dog that barks or interferes with the peace and safety of other visitors is tolerated.
The keeper of an animal must immediately pick up the feces of that animal.
No aggressive animals are tolerated in the field.
Any offender is liable to be deported without any refund.

Where to camp in Carleton-sur-Mer?

The City of Carleton-sur-Mer allows visitors to camp in campgrounds registered with the CITQ (Quebec Tourism Industry Corporation).
